NIDHI GUPTA J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for transfer the investigation of FIR No.145 dated 26.12.2022, under Sections 354, 380, 451, 506, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Phool, District Bathinda. Reply dated 06.2.2024 by way of affidavit of Sarabjit Singh, PPS, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Litigation, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab, Chandigarh has been filed in the Court today. The same is taken on record. Copy thereof supplied to the counsel opposite.

Learned counsel for the State refers to para 4 of the said reply, which reads as under :- "4.

That in view of the petition filed by gurlal Singh and the order dated 11.12.2023 passed in aforesaid CRM-M No.30313 of 2023, the matter was re-considered in the office of Director, Bureau VIJAY ASIJA 2024.02.07 17.45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

2024:PHHC:016485 CRM-M-30313-2023 of Investigation, Punjab, whereupon, the investigation of the aforesaid case FIR No.145/2022, P.S. Phool, District Bathinda, alongwith two other case FIRs i.e. FIR No.54 dated 02.5.2023 registered under Sections 447, 427, 511 of IPC at Police Station Sadar Barnala and FIR No.64 dated 12.06.2022 registered under Sections 323, 324, 341 of IPC at Police Station Sadar Barnala, was withdrawn from L/Inspector Ravinder Kaur No.392/Fatehgarh Sahib and entrusted to L/Inspector Baljeet Kaur, Incharge EOW, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab, Chandigarh vide order Endst.No.5595-5602/Crime/Inv./CB-3 dated 26.12.2023. In the aforesaid order dated 26.12.2023, it has been further directed that Assistant Inspector General of Police, Litigation, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab shall supervise the investigation in accordance with the substantive and procedural law. The case is under investigation."

Learned counsel for the State submits that in view of the aforesaid, since the grouse of the petitioner has been resolved, nothing survives in the present petition and the same may be disposed of as having become infructuous.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid facts.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
