(ORAL) On 20th of July, 2022, the following order was passed :- "This petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is filed seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 205 dated 10.9.2021, under Sections 420, 406, 506 IPC, registered at Police Station City Rajpura, Patiala.

As per the case set up by the complainant, the accused named in the complaint allured him that his invested amount would be doubled. The role attributed to the petitioner is that he is a practising lawyer and whenever money was demanded back, he extended threats to the complainant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is a case of false implication, no recovery is to be made from the petitioner, there is civil litigation pending between the complainant and the accused.

CRM-M-30980-2022 -2advance notice opposes the prayer for grant of prearrest bail. Without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the nature of allegations against the petitioner and the fact that no recovery is to be made and the petitioner has no criminal antecedents, the petitioner is granted interim bail subject to his joining investigation within a week. In the event of arrest, he shall be released on bail subject to his furnishing adequate bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer. He is directed to join the investigation as and when called for. He shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. List on 26.8.2022."

Today, Ld. State Counsel on instructions from ASI Prem Kumar submits that the petitioner has already joined investigation and is no more required for custodial interrogation. 4.

In the circumstances, the order dated 20.07.2022 is made absolute, subject to the conditions as enumerated under Sections 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The petitions stands disposed off.
