(ORAL) Petitioners herein seek issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to promote them from the post of Junior Draftsman to the post of Draftsman, as they are fully eligible and qualified as per Service Rules with effect from November 2018, with all consequential benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at this stage, petitioners would be satisfied if their pending representations dated 31.08.2020 (Annexures P-16 and P-19) are considered by the competent authority/respondent No.2, in accordance with law and appropriate orders on the same are passed.
