Due to COVID-19 situation, the Court is convened through video conference.

This is a petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 17, dated 5th February, 2021, under Sections 307, 506, 148 and 149 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station Bhikhi, District Mansa. Vide order dated 31st August, 2021, the petitioner was granted interim bail subject to joining investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been arrested in another F.I.R., no cause of action survives for pursuing the present petition.

The petition is disposed of as infructuous.
