Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? RAJIV NARAIN RAINA, J.(Oral) CM No.16635 of 2015 This is an application for withdrawal of the writ petition which is supported by an affidavit.
It is stated in the application that petitioner No.1 has expired and petitioner No.2 had retired on completion of 58 years of age and is now on extension in service. Petitioner No.3 has already been promoted as Sub Divisional Engineer while respondents No.5 to 10 are also not in service any longer. The prayer in the petition was for promotion. In the changed circumstances, the cause of action has abated. Therefore, the petitioners are granted leave to withdraw the petition.
CWP No.15883 of 2013 The writ petition is disposed of in view of the orders passed in CM No.16635 of 2015. No orders are required to be passed in the applications, if any.
