NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Challenge in the present revision petition is to the judgment dated 04.06.2016 passed by learned District Judge (Family Court), Rohtak in a petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. filed by the respondent-wife titled as 'Neetu and another vs. Baljit Singh' whereby total interim maintenance of Rs.12,000/-p.m. (Rs.6,000/- p.m. to the respondent No.1-wife and Rs.6,000/- p.m to the respondent No.2-minor son) and litigation expenses of Rs.5,500/- were allowed.

The present revision petition pertains to the year 2017. Perusal of the order sheets shows that notice in the delay application was issued on 24.03.2017; whereupon learned counsel for the respondents put in appearance on 22.05.2018. The matter was adjourned at request of learned counsel for the petitioner on 24.04.2017. At joint of learned counsel for the parties, the matter was sent for mediation vide order dated DIVYANSHI 2024.07.22 10:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

  

   

23.10.2018 which was also failed as stated in order dated 31.08.2022. There was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on the last 5 dates i.e. 24.03.2017, 21.03.2018, 22.05.2018, 16.05.2022 and 31.08.2022. Even today also for the 6th day, none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, it can safely be presumed that the petitioner or his counsel is not interested in pursuing the present revision petition. In view of the above, present revision petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
