Narender v. Maya Rani And Others
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH Crl. Revn. No. F-142 of 2017 Date of decision :- 03.04.2017 Narender ....Petitioner versus Maya Rani and ors.
...Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE RITU BAHRI
Present:
Mr. Kanwar Satbir Singh, Advocate for the petitioner.
**** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) The present petition is against order dated 22.11.2016 whereby the respondents were granted interim maintenance @ Rs.20000/- per month in a petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C.
A bare perusal of the impugned orders shows that the petitioner is having net salary of Rs.30,419/- and petitioner has one F.DR of Rs.11.50 lacs in the name of his mother. Both the above evidence were sufficient enough to grant the interim maintenance to the respondents, as the petitioner has the moral duty to maintain his wife and minor children. The financial status of the petitioner is good and thus, he has to maintain his wife and children and thus the interim maintenance is not on the excessive side and has rightly been granted to the respondents.
In view of the above, no ground is made out to interfere in the impugned order.
The petition stands dismissed.
