***** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (O&M) By way of present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for quashing of FIR No.0123 dated 30.06.2020, under Sections 420, 419, 465, 467, 468 and 471 IPC, registered at Police Station City Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not at all involved in the incident and has no role to play but was implicated as an accused just to harass and humiliate him. In pursuance to notice of motion, a reply dated 08.11.2021 has been filed through Deputy Superintendent of Police, City, District Gurdaspur on behalf of respondent-State, wherein, it has been specifically and categorically stated that the petitioner was found to be innocent and has SONIKA 2023.02.03 18:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-34810-2021 (O&M) --2-- thus been placed in column No.2 in the final report submitted before the court under Section 173 Cr.P.C.

In view of the reply submitted by respondent-State, once the petitioner has been found to be innocent and has been placed in column No.2 in the final report submitted under Section 173 Cr.P.C., besides it, his name having been deleted from the array of accused in the above-mentioned FIR, thus nothing remains to be adjudicated upon in the present petition and the same is disposed of in view of the aforesaid reply. Ordered accordingly.
