The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that although the bids were opened, the respondents have not taken any decision regarding the allotment of work.

The bids were invited by a notice inviting tender dated 02.12.2015. The last date for submission of tenders was 22.12.2015. The technical bids and financial bids were opened on the same date at 12.00 noon and 4.00 P.M., respectively. The petitioner has already deposited an amount of Rs.22.65 lacs as EMD. 3.

In the circumstances, the petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to take a decision as to whether or not to allot the work pursuant to the tender process by 05.02.2016. (S.J.
