(ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of directions to the official respondents for protection of her life and liberty as she apprehends threat at the hands of private respondents and to issue advance notice in case, she is required in any case.

Going by the ex facie averments/factual narrative in the writ petition, it is not possible for this Court to verify the veracity of such disputed nature of facts, given that extra ordinary writ jurisdiction essentially proceeds on the basis of affidavits alone, in most of the cases. 3.

Without commenting anything on the merits of the case, petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek alternative appropriate remedy under civil and/or criminal law, as may be permissible. 4.

Disposed of with these observations.
