Learned State counsel relies upon the order dated 14.07.2024 passed by the Director, School Education (Secondary), Punjab and submits that deemed date of promotion in the case of petitioner has now been fixed w.e.f. 1985 and arrears of interest from 1985 to 2012 shall be released within 06 weeks from today. 2.

In view thereof, no further cause survives in the present petition and the same is thus, disposed of.

In case the needful is not done within the aforesaid period, 1/3rd salary of respondent No.2 shall remain attached till the compliance is made.
