(ORAL) Instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for setting aside the order dated 22.04.2010 (Annexure P-18) passed by Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab and order dated 26.07.2010 (Annexure P-20) passed by Financial Commissioner and Secretary, Punjab Government, Rural Development and Panchayat Department whereby direction has been issued to make recovery, if any, from respondents No.3 and 4 in accordance with law. Further prayer has been made for removal of respondents No.3 and 4 from the posts of Sarpanch and Panch, respectively. Heard.

-2CWP No.23052 of 2010 So far as second prayer is concerned, this writ petition has been rendered infructuous as the term of the Panchayat has already expired.
