ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of impugned selection of Clerks through final result dated 23.06.2022 (Annexure P-7) declared by respondent No.2 vide advertisement No.5/2019 dated 20.06.2019 (Annexure P-1), whereby petitioner was not been selected. It is averred that petitioner scored more marks than the last selected candidate.

Pleaded case is that vide advertisement No.5/2019 (Annexure P-1), 4858 posts of Clerks in various categories in various departments were advertised by the respondent No.2-Haryana Staff Selection Commission. Petitioner being eligible applied for the same and successfully cleared the written examination by securing 60 marks. He also appeared for scrutiny of documents but in the final result his name did not figure in the list of selected candidates. Qua his aforesaid grievance, petitioner submitted representation dated 04.07.2022 (Annexure P-8) but the same has not been adverted till date. Hence the petition.

On advance service, learned State counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by competent authority, either way, on the pending representation dated 04.07.2022 (Annexure P-8). 5.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner also seeks decision on the pending representation, as suggested by learned State counsel.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the representation dated 04.07.2022 (Annexure P-8) of the petitioner and pass an administrative order, in accordance with law, within six weeks. 8.
Disposed of accordingly.
