(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioners argues that the petitioners had applied in pursuance to the Advertisement No. 5/2019 for competing against 4858 posts of Clerks and when the result was declared on 03.09.2020, the names of the petitioners were not there. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the OMR sheets have not been correctly marked by the respondents, due to which, the petitioners could not make it to the final result, which was announced on 03.09.2020.

Learned counsel further submits that petitioners have filed a detail representation to the Secretary of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission on 20.09.2020 (Annexure P-10) which is still pending consideration with the said authority and the petitioners will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to respondent No. 2 to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Ms. Rajni Gupta, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana, who has also joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Learned State counsel submits that the State has no objection in passing appropriate speaking order on the representation of the petitioners dated 20.09.2020 (Annexure P-10) in a time bound manner. In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioners, respondent No. 2 is directed to decide the representation dated 20.09.2020 (Annexure P-10) by passing a speaking order within a period of one month. Present writ petition stands disposed of.
