This criminal petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, previously Section 482 of the Cr.P.C for the issuance of a direction to respondent nos. 2 to 6 to forthwith arrest all five accused persons named in FIR no. 0034 dated 03.03.2026 (ANNEXURE P-3) registered at Police Station Mullanpur, District SAS Nagar (Mohali) under Sections 91, 191(3), 190, and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; previously section 315, 148, 149, 506 of IPC, 1860 with a further prayer to conduct a free, fair, impartial, and expeditious investigation.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the prayer made by the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab to consider and decide the representation dated 22.04.2026 (Annexure P-5) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
