In compliance of order dated 3.9.2021 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court, the State has placed on record copy of the concerned complaint (Annexure R-1) which is addressed to Chief Director, Vigilance Bureau, Mohali by one Vivek Sehgal regarding corrupt practices adopted by officials of PUDA/CTP, Punjab/GLADA/DTP, Ludhiana resulting in loss of more than 70 crores to the State of Punjab. The copy of complaint is ordered to be taken on record.

Today, the State counsel on the instructions of Mr. Ajay Kumar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance Bureau, Flying Squad-1, GAURAV SOROT 2022.02.02 16:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-35579-2021 Punjab made statement that at present the petitioner is not required by the police in the aforesaid complaint or otherwise. In view of the above, present petition is hereby disposed of with direction that if in future, petitioner is required by the police relating to aforesaid complaint (Annexure R-1), then he be issued 3 days prior notice before effecting his arrest.
