This is a petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 277 dated 24.11.2024 under Sections 25(6) Arms Act, 1959 (deleted), Section 25 (1)(a) of Arms Act, 1959 and sections 49 & 61 BNS, 2023 (added later-on) registered at Police Station PGIMS Rohtak, District Rohtak, Haryana.

This Court, vide order dated 02.07.2025, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.) 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 02.07.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined and AMIT KAUNDAL 2025.08.02 16:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh cooperated with the investigation.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI-Jasbir, Police Station PGIMS, Rohtak states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the petition is allowed and the interim order dated 02.07.2025 is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
