FC(Revenue)Punjab and others .............Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.Surinder Garg,Advocate for the petitioner Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Petitioner was unsuccessful contestant for appointment as Numberdar of Village Hari Nau,Tehsil Kotkapura,Distt.Faridkot and by filing present writ petition he has laid challenge to the order dated 5.7.2012(P-8) passed by the District Collector,Faridkot whereby one Chuhar Singh was appointed as Numberdar. Further challenge is to the order dated 12.3.2014(P-9) passed by Commissioner,Faridkot whereby his appeal against appointment of Chuhar Singh was dismissed. Further challenge is to the revisional order dated 17.3.2015(P-10) passed by Financial Commissioner(Revenue) whereby the revision against orders P-8 and P-9 was also dismissed.

At the time of hearing learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly concedes that the present writ petition would be rendered academic since said Chuhar Singh has since died and therefore, the RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.07.03 11:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CWP 12982/2015 authorities would now be bound to initiate fresh process for selecting Numberdar.
