The grievance of the petitioner is against rejection of his nomination for contesting election as Member of Panchayat Samiti, Ward No.3, Block Shahabad Markanda, District Kurukshetra. The elections have already been held on 17.01.2016. (2)
In our considered view, the petitioner has got the efficacious alternative remedy to file the election petition. (3)
The instant writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to institute the election petition, if so advised, however, keeping in view all the attending circumstances, the Election Tribunal is directed to ensure that the election petition, if so filed, is decided within six months.
