-.- KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) As per the status report submitted by the trial Court dated 17.8.2022 only one PW as on that date remained to be examined. Today State counsel on instructions from ASI Gurmeet Singh apprised the Court that after the conclusion of prosecution evidence and recording of statement of accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C., case is fixed for defence evidence if any, otherwise for arguments on 10.2.2023. Today none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. In view of the fact that trial is at its fag end, the present petition is disposed of with direction to the trial Court to finish the trial expeditiously without granting unnecessary adjournments.
