The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.149 dated 27.05.2020, under Sections 323, 324, 506 IPC (Sections 326, 498-A added later on), registered at Police Station City Rupnagar, District Rupnagar. As per report received from Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, the parties have amicably settled their disputes and have arrived at an amicable settlement.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to order dated 03.09.2021, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation and co-operated with the investigating agency. Learned State counsel, assisted by counsel for the complainant, does not dispute the submissions made by the counsel opposite and on instructions from ASI Angrez Singh, submits that the petitioner is no longer required for further investigation.
