(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.289, dated 23.05.2022, under Sections 120-B/420/467/468/471 of Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station City Panipat, District Panipat. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not in touch with the petitioner (Prabhjot Singh), as the petitioner is missing and one FIR No.5, dated 05.01.2023, registered at Police Sation Krishna Gate, Thanesar, District Kurukshetra stands registered in this regard. Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Jaibir Singh has submitted that the petitioner has not joined the investigation in pursuance to order dated 20.07.2022.
