 ,# 3#4 15 The instant Criminal Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 7 and for issuance of direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to ensure the protection of the petitioners.

Perusal of the petition shows that the same has been filed through Baljinder Kaur, who is the sister of the maternal grandmother of the minor Harpreet Kaur. It is clear that Baljinder Kaur is not the guardian of minor petitioner No.1.

It has been alleged in the instant petition that the minor had escaped from the house since her maternal uncles want to forcibly marry her with some elderly person and use to physically assault and exploit her. She further contends that she is now being subjected to threats alongwith petitioner No. 2 with whom the minor is currently staying.     It is uncontroverted that the petitioners No. 1 is a juvenile in need of care and protection and there are issues concerning the safety and security of the petitioners.

Considering that the petitioner No. 2 is not a guardian appointed by law, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contends that he would be satisfied in case directions as issued by this Court in the matter of "P......... MINOR THROUGH VIKRAM vs. STATE OF HARYANA AND OTHERS", CRWP No. 2139 of 2022 (O&M) dated 28.03.2022, are issued in the present case, since the minor would fall under the definition of juvenile.

Disposed of in terms of the directions issued in the matter of "P......... MINOR THROUGH VIKRAM vs. STATE OF HARYANA AND OTHERS" CRWP No. 2139 of 2022 (O&M) dated 28.03.2022.
