A perusal of the record shows that the appeals preferred by the respondent/landowners relating to the same acquisition proceedings, which commenced vide notifications dated 26.06.1987 and 03.07.1987 issued under Sections 4 and 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, were partly allowed by this Court while dismissing the appeals filed by the Union of India, vide judgment dated 29.08.2025 passed in RFA-266-2004 (and other connected cases).

In view of the aforesaid decision, the present appeals preferred by the appellant-Union of India are also dismissed in the same terms. 3.
