Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner
has been falsely implicated in the instant case on the basis of the statement made by the complainant, wherein she levelled sweeping and omnibus allegations of assault and wrongful confinement. It is submitted that the complainant, aged about 23 years, was residing in a live-in relationship with the husband of the petitioner, which fact is evincible from the affidavits dated 20.01.2026 and 28.01.2026, annexed as Annexures P-1 & P-2, which were duly executed by the complainant. Be that as it may, there is no material on record to corroborate the said allegations or to point towards the complicity of the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that furthermore, the offence under Section 64 of BNS is also not attributable to the petitioner. & *&$
