The petitioner claims that recommendations were made in his favour for allotment of a plot under the 'employees quota' created by the respondent-Trust whereunder 2% plots/flats are reserved for Trust employees. It is further averred that despite those recommendations made way back in 2009, no final decision has been taken though the petitioner served the authorities with a legal notice dated 15.09.2015 (P8).

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the nature of relief sought by him, however, without expressing any views on the legality or propriety of the quota created by the respondent-Trust for their own employees (as such an issue would be gone into in appropriate proceedings), the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Appropriate Authority to take a decision in accordance with the law on the legal notice said to have been made by the petitioner preferably within four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
