Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Rohtash has contended that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous inasmuch as the victim and the accused, who are both major, have solemnized their marriage and are living together and, hence, cancellation report has been prepared in the present case. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the statement made by learned State counsel, he does not wish to press the present petition.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as not pressed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
