***** HARSH BUNGER J. (Oral) Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus, for directing the respondents to renew/reissue the passport to the petitioner.

At this stage, Mr. Arnav Kumar, Advocate appears on behalf of the respondents - UOI, in pursuance of the advance copy of paper book having already been supplied to him and informs the Court that as on date no application for renewal/re-issuance of passport of the petitioner is pending with the Passport Authorities, as the earlier application filed by the petitioner already stands closed.
