RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) CM-11720-CWP-2023 For the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed.

CWP-15690-2023 Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondent No.2 for correction of 1 Kanal 4 Marlas in the name of petitioner of Jamabandi year 2016-2017, Annexure P-3 of village Taragarh situated in Tehsil and District Pathankot, as per sale deed and Mutation, Annexures P-1 and P-2. It is further prayed to issue directions to the respondents to consider and decide the representation, dated 27.04.2023, Annexure P-4, moved by the petitioner. It has been contended by counsel for the petitioner that representation, Annexure P-4, was filed on 27.04.2023, but no decision has been taken on the same till date.

On asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and has stated that representation, Annexure P-4 was filed by the petitioner before Tehsildar, Pathankot, who is not a party before this Court. After hearing counsel for the parties and going through the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Pathankot, District Pathankot, to decide the representation (if any filed alongwith certified copy of this order by the petitioner before it within one week from today, expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within one month from the date of filing of the same.
