Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a direction to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner limited his prayer to the extent that representation dated 26.02.2026 (Annexure P-10) moved by the petitioner to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali, be decided in accordance with law. 3.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Anup Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepted notice on behalf of the respondent-State and upon instructions from ASI Surinder Singh, submitted that an earlier representation filed by the petitioner had already been decided. He further submitted that the present representation (Annexure P-10) has been marked to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Economic Cell) and is presently under inquiry.
