....Respondents CORAM:- HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE LISA GILL
Present:
Mr. J.P.S. Sidhu, Advocate for the petitioner. *** LISA GILL, J.
Petitioner in this petition seeks release of arrears of revised pay from 01.01.2006 to 31.12.2009 which, it is stated, are being erroneously withheld on the ground of pendency of some recovery. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that order dated 26.07.2018 in this respect has already been passed by the appellate authority whereby order dated 28.07.2014 seeking recovery from the petitioner has been quashed. However, respondents are not releasing the benefit due to the petitioner despite representations. Legal notice dated 24.12.2019 is stated to have been served upon the respondents but to no avail. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts the prayer for a decision on legal notice dated 24.12.2019 (Annexure P6), submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.
Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits thereof, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent RITU SHARMA 2022.07.25 10:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
