(ORAL) Learned State counsel at the outset has, on instructions from ASI Harcharan Singh, informed the Court that after the petitioner was enlarged on interim bail vide order dated 04.05.2023 passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner had misused the said concession and an FIR No.36/2024 under Sections 399 and 402 of the IPC has been registered against him as recently as on 10.03.2024. 2.

In the circumstances, no ground is made out to extend the concession of regular bail to the petitioner, much less to order continuation of the interim order dated 04.05.2023. 3.

The petition stands dismissed.

The petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities within one week from today.
