That as a matter of fact the land/khasra number claimed by the petitioners in the instant writ petition has not been acquired by the office of answering respondent in pursuance of above said notification under section 4 of the Act dated 12.6.2000, declaration under section 6 of the Act dated 11.6.2001 and award dated 13.8.2002. Rather, as per acquisition record maintained by the office of deponent, the name of Chajjan Singh, Mangal Singh, Balbir Singh alias Bir Singh, Lal Singh sons of Ghasi and Vijay Kumar, Tilakraj sons of Smt. Kamlesh d/o and Premwati wd/o JAWALA RAM 2015.05.21 14:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CWP No. 1335 of 2015 - 2 - Chhanga are recorded in khasra no. 1133 and 1134 which has been acquired vide above notifications and award.

That in view of submissions made above, the present writ petition filed by the petitioners has become infructuous and same is liable to be dismissed." 2.
In view thereof, the instant writ petition has become infructuous and is disposed of as such. However, it shall be open to the petitioners to move an application for revival of the writ petition in case something survives therein.
