RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this revision, petitioner-accused has laid challenge to judgment dated 29.08.2018 of the Appellate Court, affirming judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 25.11.2014 of the trial Court, holding him guilty and sentencing to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of two years and pay fine of `10,000/- under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act (for short the 'Act'), in default of payment of fine to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months. Through CRM-10220 of 2019 under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for compounding the offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that parties have compromised the matter and also deposited 15% of the cheque amount in view of ratio laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Damodar S. Prabhu versus Sayed Bablal H., 2010(2) R.C.R. (Criminal) 851. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 has admitted the factum of compromise.
