*** Petitioner Sumit is present in the Court. The alleged detenue Pooja has appeared in the Court. She is being escorted by Sub Inspector Manoj Kumar besides her parents. She has been asked whether she is being illegally detained by her parents to which she has replied in negative stating that she is residing with them of her own. When enquired as to whether she wants to go with petitioner Sumit, she replied in negative. Confronted with that situation, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.

Since Pooja is a major, aged about 24 years, she be set at liberty.
