The prayer clothed in the instant writ petition appertains to issuance of directions to respondents No.3 and 4 to permit the petitioners to appear in the examinations scheduled to commence from 05.05.2026 for the 8th Semester of the 4th Year of the B.B.A. LL.B. and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)

programmes, in light of the petitioners' medical condition and other grounds set forth in the writ petition.

The present writ petition was ordered to be heard conjointly with CWP-13058-2026.

During the course of hearing today, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of respondents No.3 and 4 submitted that the attendance of each of the petitioners exceeds 60% in all subjects and, in most subjects, exceeds 70%. In view of the petitioners having secured more than 60% attendance in each subject, learned senior counsel for respondents No.3 and 4, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the respondents in the connected batch of petitions, submits that the respondents are willing to permit the petitioners to appear in the re-examinations scheduled to be held in July 2026.

Learned senior counsel for the petitioners submits that the concession extended by respondents No.3 and 4 permitting the petitioners to appear in the re-examinations scheduled in July 2026 is acceptable to the petitioners, and accordingly, he does not press the instant writ petition at this

stage.

In view of the above statement, the writ petition is disposed of as not pressed at this stage.
