JASWANT SINGH, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is serving in the rank of Panchayat Secretary with the Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, Punjab.

By filing the instant petition, the petitioner has challenged his transfer vide order dated 31.5.2016 (Annexure P7), transferring the petitioner from Block Talwandi Sabo, District Bathinda to Block Malerkotla-I, District Sangrur.

This Court while issuing notice of motion vide order dated 13.6.2016, had stayed the implementation of the impugned transfer order. Subsequently, a fresh order dated 30.6.2017, was passed, thereby RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2018.12.07 16:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-12426-2016 (O&M) transferring the petitioner from Block Talwandi Sabi, District Bathinda, to Block Gurdaspur, in supersession of the previous order dated 31.5.2016. At the time of hearing, counsel for the parties are agreed that the present writ petition has become infructuous since even subsequent order dated 30.6.2017, also stands cancelled vide order dated 28.3.2018. In view of aforesaid, the instant writ petition is dismissed as having rendered infructuous.
