(ORAL) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to provide information to the petitioner sought by him vide Annexure P-1 dated 04.12.2019 under Right to Information Act. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that appeal was also filed by the petitioner on 02.03.2020. Ever since, the same is pending before the Appellate Authority. Aggrieved by the pendency thereof, the petitioner has approached this Court for mitigation of his grievance qua nonsupply of information sought by him under the Right to Information Act. 3.

Learned counsel further submits that petitioner would be satisfied if directions are given to the competent authority to decide the appeal within some time bound period.

In the premise, without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of keeping in view current pandemic conditions, SONU 2020.09.25 03:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

with a direction to the appellate authority to decide the appeal pending before it (Annexure P-2) within extended period of three months from the date when copy of instant order is furnished by the petitioner. 5.
