Heard the elaborate submissions made by learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioners, learned counsel for the State of Maharashtra and learned counsel for the intervener.

I thoroughly perused the status report submitted by the Special Investigation Team, Crime Branch, Mumbai in the light of the submissions made by the counsel on either side and the citations referred by them. 3.

I am of the considered view that this is not a fit case where this Court can invoke the writ jurisdiction to entertain the various prayers made by the writ petitioners. Therefore, the Writ Petition in my considered view does not have any merit. As a result of which, the interim order already passed by this Court stands recalled and the Writ Petition stands dismissed. 4.

The status report submitted by the Special Investigation Team was returned.
