By this common order, CWP Nos. 12532 of 2016 and CWP No. 12531 of 2016 are hereby adjudicated as common questions of law and facts are involved. With the consent of both sides, facts are borrowed from CWP No. 12532 of 2016.

On 15.06.2016, the following order was passed by this Court:- "Notice of motion for 20.07.2016.

Mr. Rajesh Bhardwaj, Additional A.G., Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

In a similar CWP No. 9216 of 2016, this Court has directed the petitioner therein to continue in service beyond 30.06.2016 till further orders. In the light of the above circumstances, respondents are directed to permit the petitioner to continue in service beyond 30.06.2016 till regular appointments are made or till further orders, whichever is earlier ."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has already left the respondent-organization, however, in terms of order dated 25.09.2023 passed by this Court in CWP No. 32967 of 2019 titled as "Abhishek Kamboj and others vs. Board of Governors, National Institute of Technology and others", the petitioner is entitled to minimum pay scale, including dearness allowance.

Learned counsel for the respondents does not dispute prayer of the petitioner. He further submits that respondent would not discontinue services of the petitioners who at present are working with them till regular appointments are made.

In the wake of statements of both sides, petitions stand disposed of in terms of order dated 25.09.2023 passed in CWP No. 32967 of 2019. Needful shall be done within three months from today.
