Reply filed by learned State counsel in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioner has sought parole for the marriage of his nephew namely Vikram son of Ram Bhagat.

Learned State counsel submits that marriage of nephew of petitioner is to be solemnized on 22.11.2017 i.e. tomorrow but his real brother i.e. father of Vikram is alive and the petitioner is not entitled to parole as per Section 8(iv) of Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Rules 2007 (Annexure R-3).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner intends to attend the marriage of his nephew and he may be sent to attend the same even in police custody.

CRWP-1348-2017 -2The petitioner is undergoing sentence of life imprisonment in case FIR No. 51 dated 11.04.2002 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code at Police Station Alewa. As per the rules governing grant of parole, he is not entitled for parole, as such, this petition is dismissed.
