Petitioners seek a writ in the nature of mandamus to issue passport to them which has been withheld on the ground that an FIR under sections 379, 294 & 506 IPC is pending. According to counsel, a cancellation report has been submitted in the trial court by the police after conducting an investigation.

In view of above, this petition is disposed of with the direction that in case any fresh application for grant of passport is moved by the petitioners within one month from today, same shall be considered by respondent no. 2 within two week's thereafter.
