******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) On perusal of instant petition, I find that application of the petitioner seeking parole is still pending with the competent authorities. Though, a report was made by the Deputy Commissioner, SBS Nagar on 25.09.2017, but no further action in that regard appears to have been taken. Keeping in view above facts but without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with direction to competent authorities to decide the application filed by the petitioner seeking six weeks parole within a period of ten weeks from the date receipt of copy of this order.
