*** NAMIT KUMAR, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case bearing FIR No.105 dated 01.07.2022 under Sections 4(1), 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Regulation of Development) Act, 1957 registered at Police Station Lalru, District SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab. Vide order dated 22.07.2022 while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 22.07.2022 and 16.01.2023, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute. The learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Onkar Singh has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his further investigation in the present case is not required.
In view of the above, interim order dated 22.07.2022 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 438
(2) Cr.P.C.
The present petition stands disposed off.
