Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks protection of his and his family's life and liberty at the hands of the private respondents No.6 to 8.

In compliance of the order made by this Court on 12.06.2024, the learned State counsel has filed reply, on affidavit of Narender Singh, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Samalkha, Panipat, which is taken on record.

What emerges from a survey of the reply (supra), is that, there is no threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner. The averments made in the instant petition are totally contrary to the ones narrated in the reply. The reply makes disclosure that, in fact, the petitioner and the respondent No.6 are having a civil dispute relating to agricultural land, which is subjudice before the learned civil court concerned. In view of the disclosures (supra), especially the fact that there is no threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, no further action is required to be taken on the instant petition. Accordingly, the instant petition is closed.
