Mr. C.L. Pawar, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab ******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned State counsel submits that daughter of petitioner, namely, Manpreet Kaur is 21 years of age. She has married respondent no.4-Sagar Ram son of Gian and both filed CRM-M-44278-2017 seeking protection to their life and liberty as they had married against wishes of parents and other family members of Manpreet Kaur and were apprehending threat to their life and liberty. She is presently living with respondent no. 4 as his wife at village Baghela, Tehsil Nakodar. This Court vide order dated 21.11.2017 had directed the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural) to look into grievance of Manpreet Kaur and Sagar Ram as mentioned in CRM-M-44278-2017 and take appropriate action. The petitioner has concealed all these facts in this petition.

It is not a case of kidnapping of daughter of petitioner, who has married respondent no. 4, as such, no further action is required to be taken in this petition. In view of submission of learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
