(Oral) Present petition is directed against the order dated 16.5.2016 passed by the Additional Chief Secretary, Punjab Government, Home Affairs, Punjab, whereby the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order cancelling his licence, has been rejected. It has been urged before the court that the order is non-speaking and cryptic. Appeal has been primarily rejected on the ground of delay. He, thus, submits that the matter be remitted to the same authority for a decision afresh. This prayer is not opposed by learned State counsel. In view of the above, impugned order dated 16.5.2016 is hereby set aside and the matter is remitted to the same authority for a decision afresh as per law.
