Brij Bhushan v. Haryana Urban Development Authority & ORS
KUMAR MANOJ 2015.07.13 10:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CWP No.13562 of 2015 Date of decision : 09.07.2015 Brij Bhushan ....... Petitioner versus Haryana Urban Development Authority and Ors. ....... Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY TEWARI ***
Present:
Mr. Gaurav Bakshi, Advocate for the petitioner. ***
1. Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2. To be referred to the Reporters or not?
3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? AJAY TEWARI, J. (Oral) Learned counsel states that in an appeal filed against the dismissal order, the Appellate Authority directed the Punishing Authority to pass a speaking order within a period of one month but despite a lapse of almost three years, speaking order having not been passed, the petitioner was constrained to move a legal notice dated 18.05.2015 (P.4). Learned counsel further states that at this stage the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to decide the said legal notice immediately.
I find this to be a fair request.
In the circumstances this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the legal notice (Annexure P-4) by passing a speaking order with regard to punishment of the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order by passing a speaking order thereon.
