This is a petition under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondents for violation of the order dated 10.04.2024 passed in CWP-8138-2024. 2.

The compliance report by way of affidavit of Uma Shankar Gupta, Director, Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, Punjab alongwith a speaking order dated 20.06.2025 filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. Registry to scan the same and tag at the appropriate place. As per the compliance report, the legal notice of the petitioner has since been decided vide a speaking order dated 20.6.2025. 3.

In view of the compliance report, the present petition is disposed off. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
