The prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to count the (Part-time) service of the petitioner rendered before her respective regularisation as qualifying service for the purpose of pensionary/retiral benefits.

Learned counsel refers to judgment passed in the case of Jeewan Lata vs. State of Punjab and others, CWP-10238-2017, decided on 10.05.2019. which stands implemented vide speaking order dated 03.12.2024 (Annexure P-7). as such, a representation dated 08.01.2025 (Annexure P-5) has been submitted, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, on instructions, prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to MOHIT 2025.05.15 15:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-13915-2025 (O&M) -2decide the representation dated 08.01.2025, within a period of 4 months, taking note of the aforesaid judgment, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to her and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to her interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
